وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّیۡلَ لِبَاسࣰا وَٱلنَّوۡمَ سُبَاتࣰا وَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ نُشُورࣰا
And He it is Who maketh night a covering for you, and sleep repose, and maketh day a resurrection
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
- 19:11
فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلۡمِحۡرَابِ فَأَوۡحَىٰۤ إِلَیۡهِمۡ أَن سَبِّحُوا۟ بُكۡرَةࣰ وَعَشِیࣰّا
Then he came forth unto his people from the sanctuary, and signified to them: Glorify your Lord at break of day and fall of night

- 30:23
وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦ مَنَامُكُم بِٱلَّیۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱبۡتِغَاۤؤُكُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَسۡمَعُونَ
And of His signs is your slumber by night and by day, and your seeking of His bounty. Lo! herein indeed are portents for folk who heed

كَلَّاۤ إِنَّهُمۡ عَن رَّبِّهِمۡ یَوۡمَئِذࣲ لَّمَحۡجُوبُونَ
Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord
